The Physician's Prayer

My first public narrative piece was published in the American Journal of Medicine. It detailed my notions of healthcare and equity as I went on a mission trip to Cape Coast, Ghana. I reflected on this theme through an interaction with one patient, John.
John has since passed, but his story is one I will keep for the rest of my career. I hope we can build institutions that can serve people in the ways John needed.
